For Feldenkrais® practitioners and Awareness Through Movement® teachers—An intensive study of one the most creative and potent aspects of our method: individualizing lessons
Whether we’re working with ATM, FI, or a blend of the two, we have the greatest ability to connect with a client and make a difference to them when the lesson addresses their unique needs.
Part 1
Individualizing Lessons: Focus on ATM
Online via Zoom: Thursdays 7:30-9:00pm Eastern / 4:30-6 Pacific, May 23, 30, June 13, 20, 27 (no meeting June 6)
Skills addressed in the five online sessions include:
- Interviewing your student
- Observing movement, both in person and online
- Transitioning into the lesson: Choosing the best material
- Adapting to changing circumstances during the lesson
- Concluding the lesson to consolidate learning
Individualizing Lessons: Focus on ATM is presented as a series. No partial registration will be considered. On the whole, live participation is required. That said, we know life can be bumpy. Recordings will be provided for those who miss a session. We will recommend practice (like, homework) between sessions.
